Anson

【Be a Better Me】

Anson has not been the most confident person in the past; since joining The Boys' Brigade, he gradually pushed himself to try more and experience more. After three years of training, his horizons have broadened, learned about various topics, and has gained a deeper understanding of the unconditional love of our Heavenly Father. Anson's goal is to continuously seek improvement, believing in his abilities, and becoming a better version of himself.

Ryan・Samuel

【The past, the present and the future me】

"Our past decisions and efforts we put in will shape our futures differently. "Ryan and Samuel are both Brigaders from the 150th Company. They each have different goals and experiences growing up in the organisation. Ryan's university life is very hectic, but he still makes an effort to help out at the Company, where The Boys' Brigade has cultivated his resilience. Samuel started participating in The Boys' Brigade in the Pre-Junior Section. After advancing to the Company Section, he participated in NCO Trainings, where he completed tasks with his peers, which has given him a great sense of achievement. Through The Boys' Brigade, he has gained a deeper understanding of his faith as well.

Ryan and Samuel have always been striving for improvement and growth; we are certain that their futures will be filled with infinite possibilities!

【Developing Courage and Leadership Through BB】

I joined The Boys' Brigade in primary school, and it has been 8 years since. Before joining, I was very shy and often felt lost when having to speak in front of others, struggling to express myself clearly. However, in the Company, I had to assist the Officers in leading the Brigaders, which often required me to organize my thoughts quickly and convey the Officers' instructions and ideas to Brigaders concisely.

Through the training and experiences I had in The Boys' Brigade, I am no longer afraid of facing an audience. I can now speak my mind confidently in front of others. This training has greatly impacted me and will benefit me for life.

The Boys' Brigade provides us with a platform to discover our strengths and unleash our potential. I am very grateful for the progress and growth I have achieved within this community!

【Brigader with Dedicated Faith】

I am in Primary 3 this year, and have been participating in The Boys' Brigade since K2 in kindergarten. I have always enjoyed attending the Company gatherings, and never misses a session unless there is a school event.

My parents wanted me to learn discipline here. Although drill training can be tough, following the Officer's instructions, then being able to perform different movements with my teammates during practice brought us a lot of satisfaction. I am grateful for the Officers' trust. Sometimes I get chosen as the Marker, which is an important role that I take very seriously, making sure I can do it well.

Being part of The Boys' Brigade has also led me to experiencing Christ's love, inspiring my pursuit of faith. I read the children's spiritual practice journal my mom bought for me almost every day. At times, when I notice others' poor behavior, I share with my parents - "I think our Heavenly Father doesn't like us to act like that." Understanding faith is truly wonderful. "Thank you, Heavenly Father, for giving me the opportunity to be in The Boys' Brigade. I really love this community!"
